But i think it's good for my soul...
it's been a long time since i've felt so
...tender, yet aggrieved,
so angry...yet so...sad too...
"Home"
I'm staring out into the night,
Trying to hide the pain.
I'm going to the place where love
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing.
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.
Well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
Well I'm going home.
The miles are getting longer, it seems,
The closer I get to you.
I've not always been the best man or friend for you.
But your love remains true.
And I don't know why.
You always seem to give me another try.
So I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all,
And then some you don't want.
Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all, yeah.
Oh, well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old.
I said these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
I'm going home.

In a sense, i feel so stupid to be feeling things that others do not & will not...
yet...in my gut, and as i examine it...i think that it's so important, too important not to say a thing...yet...after saying it, i sense that i've done nothing but killed a friendship...='(
How can we develop a sense of right & wrong if we do not dare to call things as they are.
To compromise & to make allowance cheapens the grace of God.
It spits in God's hand, and in His open arms...
"Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."

Good is good & bad is bad...
& if we are honest with ourselves...
Our bad nature reigns more than we wanna admit...
but we always gloss it over & make it seem alright. Why?
I'm tired of compromise...
of making laughter, when it's forced...
Of playing with God instead of taking Him seriously
these places and these faces are getting old
I'll not sit by & say nothing, do nothing...
I've made my stand, drawn that line in the sand...
Maybe it means losing what i consider valuable & lovely...
I don't regret this life I chose for me.

My heart hurts, it really really tears me up...a different kind of pain

And i DO NOT wish this for you dear one...='(

"Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person's ultimate good as far as it can be obtained."
"I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time- waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God- it changes me."
