"Come near to the holy men and women of the past and you will soon feel the heat of their desire after God. They mourned for Him, they prayed and wrestled and sought for Him day and night, in season and out, and when they had found Him the finding was all the sweeter for the long seeking. Moses used the fact that he knew God as an argument for knowing Him better.
"Now, therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight;"
and from there he rose to make the daring request, "I beseech thee, show me thy glory." God was frankly pleased by this display of ardor, and the next day called Moses into the mount, and there in solemn procession made all His glory pass before him."

Alot of times, the fury of our passion fades after the initial flame. How i wish it were not so, but sadly it is. The key then is how to keep the flame going. Been reading alot books, and they just happen to be classics...."The Calvary Road", Roy Hession, and "The Pursuit of God", A.W. Tozer. Love these classics and somehow, they speak to me in a way that modern books do not. Think i may just have an old soul...=P
Life this season has been really challenging, stress and workload has been really high...the campaign starts this week...11th & 12th, then the harvest event on 19th. I think for me, i really wanna see the students more effective and unafraid to share their faith. I think this campaign is a brilliant Pre-E time, and yes, Lord, use this whole season for your Glory! It's been immensely stretching but yeah...all things worth doing are worth sacrificing for! =) I hope that the strategies and everything learnt will gave an impact far beyond just this year, but i hope it will be a life-long skill for everyone involved.
Ok...just rambling here...back to time with the guys!
We're waiting for pizza and watching Shanghai Knights, i'm actually clearing work but yeah...took some minutes just to blog! =) hahahah!
