Looking down the narrow road...

The road you take will always be bumpy and narrow, nevertheless, don't ever take the wide, easy road. That leads to death. It is hard to achieve what you desire with your little willpower, instead, allow something/someone supernatural to change your life.

I choose...Jesus.

Sometimes, all we need is something or someone to speak the truth into our lives, to call a spade, a spade. To help us lay out all the cards, recognise that we can't do much, decide what we can focus on, and then entrust the rest to God.

I choose...Jesus.

Some people express best in art, some in photos, some in gifts, mine...i do it best in writing.

There are so many things that distract & pull us off track. It can be the many (merely) good things that we're doing, or those nagging (seemingly) inconsequential matters, maybe...duties, responsibilities, commitments, or it can be people that we care for, relationships that matter, people who help define our significance (admit it, it's true!).

But the way thing that helps is like what they say in driving...look far, look forward. The narrow way really requires concentration, but as you look along the path, it is so much easier to realign, and to line up towards that vision of the Cross, the vision of the future.

Things in the present, will sort themselves out...because God is in the details, our gaze on eternity ought to guide our present decisions. So...to everyone seemingly stuck in a rut, gutted, in the desert place, filled with questions or warring deep inside...

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will go strangely dim
in the light of His glory and grace.
